Younger millennials may remember the Klutz Nail Art book, but even if you weren’t obsessed with nail polish like I was, there’s a timeless nostalgia in doing nails with your friends at a sleepover. Sitting cross-legged on sleeping bags or on the carpet, a movie or music in the background, gossiping while you tried not to touch anything as they dried, or using the hair dryer to speed up the process.
The smell was intense, you’d usually mess up or pick it off the next day (maybe just me?), but the point wasn’t perfect nails. It was the bonding. And for the friends that had the self restraint to keep their polish on, seeing it grow and chip away in school the next week felt like a shared reminder of the fun you had together.
At The Nail Nest, you tap into slumber party vibes while still leaving with professional-level results. You can binge guilty pleasure TV and movies, hear songs where you still somehow know all the lyrics, or catch me up so I can be on your side in all your life’s drama. You set the mood; it’s YOUR nostalgia! (Quiet is always an option, obviously.)
The Nails
The Nail Nest is a private, appointment-only studio. That means you always see me, you're never rushed, and your nail history is remembered every time you come back. It's a detailed, intentional, one-on-one experience designed to feel like the best part of your week.
I offer gel manicures, builder gel manicures with both soft and hard gel, and soft gel extensions. Getting your nails done with me is about the process, the journey, and the experience. We will collaborate on your goals, your habits, your lifestyle, and how your nail appointments can get your nails looking their best! These are longer appointments, which means your nail health comes first and you’ll always have time to say, “Hey, why are we doing it this way?” Growing out nails after damage or to a longer length is always possible with the right routine and products. You can always expect honest advice on your services and discussions of your progress.
